If you are a hill-climbing buff, it's all here. But if you're not, drive about just ooh-ing and aahing at all the lovely scenery.
But there's fishing, sailing, riding, skiing in winter or just walking on the pebbly beach.
There is outstanding high level walking with 43 Munro Mountains within 15 miles. The Glencoe ski centre is at the heart of things in winter but walkers can take on the challenge of these hills in all seasons and other adventure activities such as canyoning are also available.
Ballachulish has a very well stocked Co-op open every day from 7am 'til 10pm. The Laroch bar is in walking distance where they serve barmeals. The Isle of Glencoe is our local hotel. We recommend the lively Clachaig near Glencoe Village, the Holly Tree at Kentallen and the Glencoe Hotel for meals out locally.
